The Parkhurst Residents and Business Owners Association (PRABOA) Neighbourhood Watch (PNW) officially announced the deployment of additional high-definition CCTV cameras and an increase in dedicated foot and vehicle patrols, specifically targeting the commercial heart of the suburb.
This initiative comes as a direct response to community feedback and aims to build upon the existing security infrastructure that has served the area for years. The PNW, known for its proactive approach to community safety, has been instrumental in fostering a secure environment for the suburb's young professionals, families, and their pets, who frequently utilise Verity Park and the dog-friendly establishments. The enhanced surveillance will provide more comprehensive coverage, especially during peak evening hours, addressing concerns related to petty crime and opportunistic theft.
